FAQs

WHERE IS SERVICE?

We meet Sundays at 10am at Atlantic High School. A few times a year we meet outside at the Old School Square Pavilion for special events.

WHAT DO WE WEAR?

Jeans, casual.

IS THERE CHILDCARE?

Yes, from infants to age 12. Click here for more information...

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

Usually our service consists of 3 - 4 worship songs, announcements, and a sermon. Together the service time is roughly about an hour and twenty minutes.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

We desire to get you involved. There are various teams to join... from set up, greeters, band/vocals, cityserve, foster parent night out, avenue kids all the way to our faithful email prayer team and more! So the easiest way to get involved is to contact Mitch at Mitch@theavechurch.com and she will direct you into the area in which you desire to learn more about and team to serve in!

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

It’s been said that “convictions are not merely beliefs we hold; they are those beliefs that hold us.” At the AC we rejoice in the sufficiency and clarity of God’s Word for defining all matters of belief and practice. Our goal is to be continually reforming our lives and doctrines until they accurately and winsomely reflect the content and spirit of God’s Word. Click here for more...

WHAT BIBLE DO YOU SUGGEST?

We see usefulness in most modern translations of the 3 primary kinds (word for word, thought for thought, and paraphrase). At the AC we preach and teach from the English Standard Version, one of the more excellent word for word translations out there alongside the NASB and NKJV.

HOW CAN YOU GET CONNECTED?

Contact the church at info@theavechurch.com

WHAT KIND OF WORSHIP MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?

We generally play contemporary Christian worship songs. However, more importantly than our style of music that we play, is the God who we praise and pray to during worship. If you love Jesus and want to join with other people in Delray Beach in praying and praising Him that is what our worship is all about!

HOW CAN I BEST MEET PEOPLE AFTER SERVICE?

The best way to meet people after service is to stay around! You can also walk over to the Connection Table and one of our Connection Team Members would love to meet you!
